Growing up, my parents always nurtured a garden, no matter where we moved. I vividly remember a moment in first grade when I found what I thought was a dead twig and brought it inside. To my surprise, it sprouted new leaves in the spring. This taught me the power of patience and observation—sometimes, what seems lifeless is just resting.

My journey with plants continued through summers spent in Iowa’s fields, where I learned the value of hard work and the beauty of real food. After joining the Marine Corps in 1993, I discovered a passion for natural medicine and herbal healing, which eventually led me to naturopathic medicine.

Life took a challenging turn when my daughter was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. In those dark times, I realized the importance of conventional medicine. I am forever grateful for the doctors and nurses who saved her life. This experience deepened my understanding that effective healing requires a blend of conventional and natural approaches.

Inspired by my journey, I opened a practice and embraced functional medicine, which focuses on finding root causes and restoring health holistically. As an IFM Certified Practitioner, I teach and support others in their healing journeys.

My path has not been without struggles, including a recent divorce that forced me to rebuild and rediscover my strength. Now, I am dedicated to helping accomplished professional women facing the challenges of perimenopause and autoimmunity reclaim their brilliance and live passionately.

I can’t wait to support you as you shine in all your glory!
